Yoga Teacher - Psychologist - EMDR Therapist

My background

Passionate about the human being, graduated as a psychologist, I fell into the "cauldron of yoga" in Southern Italy where I lived for 4 years.

Although I didn't believe in it at all, being naturally hyperactive, this practice completely won me over; it marked the beginning of a budding passion.

Starting my day with a daily Yoga session to reconnect with my body and pause the incessant wanderings of my mind gradually became self-evident. It was a true revelation and a path of transformation.

My journey turned out to be less linear than imagined, as significant health challenges arose along the way. These hurdles provided me with a different perspective on the fragility of Life and the importance of returning to the body, returning to oneself, in order to embrace and overcome difficulties and events.

Yoga practice then taught me self-compassion, self-transcendence with gentleness and mindfulness, reconnection with the sensations of my body and my inner being.

Yoga has become for me much more than a physical activity: it is primarily a dialogue with oneself, privileged moments where we take care of ourselves on both the physical and emotional levels. It is a path towards and within oneself.

My Yoga Teacher Training

After several years of practice, the idea gradually formed in my mind to better understand this ancient art and one day transmit the benefits of yoga to others: a source of harmonization, fulfillment, and well-being.

I embarked on a comprehensive 4-year in-person training (680 hours) at the André Van Lysebeth School affiliated with FIDHY (Inter-Teaching Federation of Hatha Yoga) and UEY (European Union of Yoga).

My intention was not to rush into a hasty learning process focused mainly on postures; I was full of enthusiasm and wished to fully savor this journey of becoming a Yoga teacher, delving deep into all its aspects from anatomy to philosophy.

More of a mindset than a set of techniques, this four-year journey gradually allowed me to progress, evolve, and embrace the various facets of this ancient art.

And since we all remain beginners, I continue to seek ongoing education to enrich my practice through numerous workshops (sound yoga with Patrick Torre; Iyengar yoga with André Rivoire; chair yoga with Jeannot Margier...), convinced that a teacher must always remain a student.

My training as a Psychologist

I am a Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychologist graduated in 2009 from the University of Paris Descartes, a title recognized by the State.

I obtained a double Franco-Italian degree by participating in the Erasmus Mundus WOP-P program. This program focuses on the major principles developed in the EuroPsy model, the European certificate in psychology established by the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA). It is also based on the reference model and the minimum standards of the European program for training in Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology, established by the European Network of Work and Organizational Psychologists (ENOP).

Additionally, I received training in EMDR therapy for adults at the French Institute of EMDR, an institute renowned for its serious and high-quality training. It is one of the few EMDR training programs recognized by both the EMDR Institute (Francine Shapiro, USA), the EMDR Europe association, and the EMDR France association.

Yoga is not a method, it is an exploration.»
